Warehouse in a residential area

This is a one-story wooden warehouse located in a quiet residential area. Due to its cost and durability as a warehouse, we use corrugated metal and resin sheets, which are commonly used in warehouses and factories, for the exterior material. On the other hand, considering the environment of the residential area, we used multiple pre-existing colors rather than a single color, creating a color scheme that somehow looks like a house when viewed with a narrow eye. As a result, the building has two overlapping images: a warehouse and a home.

住宅地に立つ倉庫

静かな住宅地に立つ木造平屋の倉庫です。倉庫としてのコスト感や耐久性から、外装材に倉庫や工場などよくで使われる金属や樹脂の波板を使っています。一方で、住宅地という環境を考慮し、単色ではなく複数の既成色を使い、薄目で見るとなんとなく家のようにも見える配色としています。結果として、倉庫と家という二つのイメージが重なる建物となっています。
